Earlier this month, Sengkang Town Council (SKTC) announced our 5-year Masterplan for Sengkang Town, which marks Chapter 3 of our comprehensive Sengkang Town Plan. We are now delighted to announce the release of Chapters 1 and 2, which provides a deeper insight into the progress and ongoing improvements within our town.

Chapter 1 offers an introduction to SKTC – highlighting our overall statistics, key milestones, the story behind our logo and its symbolism. It also outlines our vision, mission and values, and details the development and growth of our town's amenities over the years.

Chapter 2 highlights the connection between SKTC and our residents, showcasing how we drive positive change and strengthen our community. Through a series of engagement sessions, our town councillors have actively engaged in listening to residents' concerns, bringing these issues to relevant forums. We have also organised a variety of events and collaborations aimed at fostering both joy and awareness, including partnerships with charitable and non-profit organisations to build a more informed community, as well as appreciation sessions for our hardworking conservancy staff. Sustainability is also a key focus, with initiatives such as textile recycling bins, e-waste collection points, electric vehicle charging stations, and educational collaborations with preschools.

Chapter 2 also features updates on ongoing and completed projects, including cyclical works, R&R works, and lift improvement programmes — all part of our ongoing commitment to revitalising and improving our neighbourhood.
